Video: 101-year-old woman throws out first pitch at Cardinals game

A 101-year-old woman by the name of Rosemary Depler celebrated her birthday Friday night by tossing out the ceremonial first pitch at Busch Stadium. The Peoria, Illinois resident was on hand to watch her beloved Cardinals host the Phillies.

Depler didn't quite have the arm strength to deliver the ball from the mound. But she was able to give it a whirl underhand from about 20 feet away. That's pretty impressive for a person who is only 13 years younger than the Cardinals franchise itself.

Furthermore, Depler has been alive to see each of the Cardinals' 11 World Series titles, with the first one dating back to 1926.
