Survey suggests men would rather have affair than watch World Cup

The World Cup is just around the corner and this fact alone has many soccer-loving fans around the world really excited. But not everyone is as jazzed for this one-every-four-years tournament as others.

According to a new survey conducted by Victoria Milan, which is a website geared toward coupled people looking to have an affair, 34 percent of men are more excited at the prospect of having an affair than watching the FIFA World Cup. Of the men who will be watching the World Cup, 85 percent said they will look to see their mistresses after their team loses.

It almost goes without saying, but the results of this survey are severely skewed because only men willing enough to cheat on their spouses were allowed to record their opinion. In some ways, it seems like the percentage of men who would rather cheat than watch the World Cup would be higher among this deplorable population sample.

I suppose the bottom line of this story is women might want to be concerned if their man is refusing to watch the World Cup for any reason other than he hates soccer.
