Hope Solo found herself behind bars Friday night after police were called to her home, which she shares with husband and former NFL player Jerramy Stevens, in Washington to investigate an assault and noise disturbance. What they found was apparently enough evidence to put Solo in handcuffs.
“There was a big party going on at her house," said Kirkland police Lt. Mike Murray. "It was an out-of-control situation.”
According to police, Solo got into an argument with relatives and at some point during the party allegedly assaulted both her sister and nephew. Murray stated, “There were visible injuries on them.”
The USWNT and Seattle Reign goalkeeper is being held without bail on two counts of investigation of domestic violence assault.
