Dallas police falsely report they arrested Aqib Talib, arrested brother instead

The Dallas Police Department is undoubtedly feeling a little embarrassed after falsely reporting that they arrested Aqib Talib, defensive back for the Denver Broncos, for public intoxication and for throwing bottles in a local club.

According to a series of tweets my police officer Max Geron, who is in charge of media relations, Talib was booked at approximately 1:45 am after causing a disturbance at the Dallas club called Club Syn.

As fate would have it, the Dallas Police Department was wrong, because who they had actually arrested was Talib's 31-year-old brother, Yaqub Talib. Oops!
To his credit, Geron corrected his original report around noon on Sunday.
Yeah, I'd say Dallas PD won't live this blunder down anytime soon.
