The 21-year-old was reportedly drunk and rowdy at a local house party Wednesday morning when officers arrived to diffuse the situation. When the cops asked him to leave, Holt adamantly denied their request and began threatening them and screaming at party guests. Then, when Bowling Green police officers tried to take Holt into custody, TMZ Sports reports that the linebacker threw his back into one of the cops, propelling the aforementioned cop into some nearby landscaping.
This is when another officer jumped into action and tackled Holt to the ground face first. He was eventually handcuffed and booked for public intoxication, resisting arrest and second degree disorderly conduct.
The Seattle native is heading into his senior season after transferring from the City College of San Francisco prior to 2013.
