Virginia Cavaliers southpaw Nathan Kirby was on point Friday night in his start against Pitt as he struckout 18 of the 29 batters he faced en route to twirling a no-hitter.
The only two runners Kirby allowed on base were due to a walk and an error. He came within one punch out of tying the ACC record for most in a single game.
Keep Kirby's name in the back of your mind because it's likely we could hear from him again. He's currently rated No. 3 in the latest batch of Baseball America rankings.
