Video: College softball game features tremendous act of sportsmanship

One of the more incredible displays of sportsmanship took place during a recent softball game between Eckerd College and Florida Southern College.

With two outs in the top of the seventh inning, Eckerd sophomore Kara Oberer stepped to the plate and subsequently delivered a three-run home run off Florida Southern senior pitcher Chelsea Oglevie. However, Oberer was unable to round the bases on her own power after her knee locked up when rounding first base.

This is when Oglevie and second basemen Leah Pemberton rushed over to assist Oberer by carrying her around each and every base.
