Report: Aaron Hernandez allegedly threatened to kill security guard

Aaron Hernandez

According to a report by TMZ Sports, Aaron Hernandez is under investigation for allegedly threatening to shoot and kill a security guard at Bristol County Jail in late 2013.

Apparently, the whole incident was sparked by Hernandez's attempt to deviously obtain extra food for himself. After a while, one security guard in particular called him out on it and that's when Hernandez allegedly made threats against the guard.

However, one of the NFL star's fellow inmates says that Hernandez did not indeed threaten to kill the guard who blew the whistle on Hernandez's extra food tactics.

Here's more on the story from TMZ:

The ex-inmate told investigators Aaron was noticeably losing weight in jail and would run various schemes to get extra food ... like putting an insect on a half eaten meal and then complain to officials so he could get a fresh serving. But the ex-inmate claimed Aaron pulled his schemes "one too many times" which pissed off the officers ... who put an end to the extra food.)

The ex-inmate was adamant Hernandez NEVER threatened the guard ... though he did claim Aaron called the guy a "bitch" during the heated exchange.

Hernandez was "written up" over the incident at the time, but there's no word on where things stand in terms of the current investigation.

    1. You know I just love how the press in particular, and other's presume people guilty in this country when our system is 'innocent until PROVEN guilty'!! What happened to that people? Wake up until Aaron goes to trial he is innocent and should be treated as so.

  4. Guards will write you up for every minor or non-existent infraction. If you look at them sideways, that is called a threat and will remove all good time from your account. It's all based on what the f*<k3$ say they heard and there is nothing you can do. Supers will back them 100%, 100% of the time.

  5. Hernandez had all the luxuries of life that any of us would trade for a day. He wanted to be a thug and live 2 different lifestyles. He deserves to lose weight, he deserves all he is encountering in jail. I used to work corrections with garbage like him. The system is not meant to be enjoyed. Consider all the officers who have been attacked or killed because so many people worried about people like little Aaron who didn't get enough o his little tray. Oh well! Should have stayed on the field and not the streets. I have no sympathy for these highly paid thugs who think their money will solve all their issues. It won't solve that new weight loss problem....

  8. Look man regardless of the situation no one should be in jail. Obviously he will face the penalty for his wrong doings. If you were a good person in life wouldn't u want the best for him ? I'm just saying cause I think that this crap they are saying about him is incorrect. Besides never know what happens in closed doors right. The guard probably wanted a piece of ass for all we know

    1. So criminals should just roam free, and not be in jail?

  9. Prison is to be a form of rehabilitation, not punishment. So treating people like animals does nothing for society, other than spit people out, worse than how they went in. I have worked in corrections and have seen it first hand. I am not speaking about Hernandez personally, he is probably a complete scumbag, however, if he ever has a chance to get out, I would rather seem a rehabilitated Hernandez on the streets than what the prison spits out. People always like to judge what they believe should happen in prison, but until you have ever seen the inside, you will never truly understand. Every person is one bad decision away from being locked up, and if you can't see that, then I feel sorry for your soul.

  16. While we are at it I suppose we just torture and water board them too? I do not believe AH deserves to be catered to, I am just saying until you have been on the inside of a CORRECTIONAL facility, you really do not know what it is like. EVERY single person is one bad decision from being locked up, and if it was you or your child, you would not want them to be hungry. I whole heartedly believe that AH is probably a giant dirtbag. However, NO human being deserves to be tortured, no matter what they have done. Remember, two wrongs do not make a right?? I think we all learned that in grade school.
