Video: Charity may sue Red Sox over use of 'B Strong' logo
Following the tragic bombing at the Boston Marathon, the "Boston Strong" moniker was a rally cry that united a city and propelled the Red Sox to the World Series last year.
However, an unrelated charitable organization located in El Paso, Texas is mulling whether or not to sue the Red Sox, because it believes their "B Strong" logo was unrightfully taken.
This news report from a CBS affiliate in Boston detailed the circumstances involving the case and also asked for some input from an attorney about Boston's chances of dodging legal action.
Personally, I think it's a bad move by the charitable organization. This is not likely to go over favorably in the eyes of the general public. More importantly, as the attorney in the video clip states, he doesn't believe the organization has a good enough case to win any such lawsuit.
What do you think about it?
