Once Arian Foster's career in professional football is finished, the Houston Texan might just have a career waiting for him in Hollywood.
According to TMZ Sports, Foster recently wrapped up his role in the upcoming movie "Draft Day," which is about an NFL general manager (played by Kevin Costner) vying to land the No. 1 pick, and by all accounts Foster nailed his part.
"Arian was very natural and enthusiastic," co-star Wade Williams said. " They [the producers] weren't gonna hire him if he couldn't act."
Foster plays a potential draft pick in the film and apparently plays the role damn well.
"He's a very talented actor," praised Williams. "After the NFL he definitely could be a sportscaster or even act full-time."
The irony here is the University of Tennessee product was never drafted himself. He signed with the Texans after being passed over many times in the 2009 draft.
"Draft Day" is set for release in theaters everywhere April 11.
