Photo: Swarm of bees causes brief delay in Yankees-Red Sox game

A swarm of bees were to blame for a brief delay in the spring training game between the Yankees and Red Sox on Tuesday.

All in all, the flying insects stopped the game at Steinbrenner Field for a total of about seven minutes, before stadium workers got the situation under control by using spray.

Mark Teixeira also lent a hand by trying distracting the bees with two bottles of honey.

Nice try, Tex.
