Indiana State basketball player told police he was twin brother during drunk driving arrest

Indiana State Sycamores basketball player Brenton Scott was arrested last Saturday for drunk driving. But that might not be the worst part about this story.

According to a report by WTWO, Scott allegedly tried to throw his identical twin brother under the bus for his mishap, initially telling police that his name was Bryson Scott. That's just wrong, dude.

Brenton's lie was quickly sniffed out when teammates Devonte Brown and Alex Etherington, who were also riding in the car, told police his real name. Scott was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, giving false information, and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

He was booked in the Vigo County Jail.
