Auburn students arrested after stealing $16k worth of items from football locker room


Three Auburn University students landed behind bars this week after reportedly breaking into the Tigers football locker room and stealing thousands of dollars worth of memorabilia and other valuables. A few of the items included jerseys and helmets formerly worn by Bo Jackson and Cam Newton.

All totalled, the trio of bandits took 20 items from Jordan-Hare Stadium on March 22. According to the incident report filed by the Auburn Police Division, the value of items stolen is $16,826.

On Wednesday, the three students were arrested and charged with third-degree burglary and first-degree theft of property. Their names are John Williams (19), Nicholas Calvin (18) and Zachary Keeler (18). They reportedly surrendered themselves to police once realizing authorities were on to them. All items were safely recovered and were in their possession.

Seriously? A laundry loop? A pair of socks?

These guys deserve every bit of the punishment they get smacked with for pure idiocy alone.
