Video: Minor league team offering to donate $10,000 to charity if Russell Wilson plays one game for them
Could Russell Wilson potentially play in a professional baseball game this season? The Myrtle Beach Pelicans certainly hope so.
As you can see from the video, the team is offering to donate $10,000 to the charity of his choice if the Seattle Seahawks quarterback was to play in just one game for them.
The idea isn't too far-fetched, either, because the Texas Rangers just selected Wilson in the Rule 5 Draft and own the rights to sign him. As the Single-A affiliate of the Rangers, Myrtle Beach could totally host Wilson this season, if in fact he decides to play.
