Photo: World Cup stadium boasts wider seats for obese fans

View image on Twitter

The 2014 FIFA World Cup is just around the corner and tournament officials in Brazil want to do everything they can to help fans feel comfortable.

So, this is why Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro is accommodating plus-size futbol lovers by offering wider seats. Yes, that's right. The photo above serves as proof.

Although some may be led to believe that a seat such as this one would cost extra, in actuality, the seat potentially cost half as much as a regular one, assuming the fan has a doctor's note detailing the obese condition. It's a win-win for everyone involved.
