Phil Simms doesn't think there's a franchise quarterback in the draft

According to many in the football community, there are no less than three quarterbacks who could possibly change the course of a franchise in this year's NFL Draft.

However, former quarterback and current analyst Phil Simms isn't so sure about that, going as far as saying he doesn't believe there are any such signal callers available.

Appearing on Mad Dog Sports Radio on Wednesday, Simms called out potential No. 1 overall picks Teddy Bridgewater, Blake Bortles, and Johnny Manziel for various reasons, and even said he thought Jets quarterback Geno Smith, a second round pick in 2013 who struggled as a starter, would be the best among this group if included in this year's draft class.
To be fair, Simms isn't the only notable football expert skeptical of the quarterbacks. Well, at least in regards to Manziel. Ron Jaworski recently grabbed headlines by saying he wouldn't draft Manziel in the first three rounds of the draft.
