Last week, the Class-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers made Wilson a $10,000 offer to make an appearance this season. Now, the Pelicans are doubling their offer to $20,000, in addition to partnering with businesses throughout the community to provide a complimentary vacation for Wilson and his wife, too.
The vacation would include free accommodations to a hotel, a round of golf, tickets to area attractions, meals, and usage of a rental vehicle.
Pelicans General Manager, Andy Milovich says "We recognize that Russell's commitment to the Seahawks means he'll likely never play a game, but he has an open invitation to TicketReturn.Com Field any time."
The Pelican insists that Wilson is welcome to choose whatever date that fits his schedule. However, they would like it if the Seahawks quarterback could come the week of April 14th.
