Jonathan Papelbon: If I was a gambling man I would take us to go all the way

Well, you can't fault Jonathan Papelbon for having faith in his team.

Despite not posting a winning season since 2011, Papelbon believes the Philadelphia Phillies are primed to win the World Series this year, as Jeff Skversky of WPVI noted on Twitter.

It certainly won't be easy, though. The Braves and Nationals are expected to be the class of the National League East. Meanwhile, the Mets and Marlins hope to be improved over 2013 as well.

I'm not a betting man, but I wouldn't take Papelbon's advice on this one. It would be a different story if this was 2011, though, when the Phils won 102 games.
