Duck Dynasty is about to enter college football.

According to Brett McMurphy of, the guys who made the A&E show so popular are set to purchase naming rights to the Independence Bowl, under their company name Duck Commander, which famously produces duck calls.

The deal would be good for six years and the new name for the Shreveport, La., game would be called the Duck Commander Independence Bowl.

On a related note, it was recently announced that Duck Commander would also sponsor a NASCAR Sprint Cup race, now known as the Duck Commander 500.
