Dee Ford: Jadeveon Clowney plays like 'a blind dog'

Dee Ford

Is Jadeveon Clowney the most talented defensive player available in the 2014 NFL Draft? Not if former Auburn Tigers defensive end Dee Ford has anything to say about it.

In an interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio on Sunday, Ford put his fellow NFL draft hopeful on blast, comparing the way Clowney plays to "a blind dog."

"I'm better (than Clowney). Let's put it like this. People like to talk about size all the time. Size is pretty much overrated in my eyes. You can look at guys like Robert Mathis, Elvis Dumervil, Von Miller. These are 6-2 guys and under. People are just looking at the fact that he's a physical specimen. Honestly if you watch the film, he plays like a blind dog in a meat market, basically."

Needless to say, Ford's words are extremely bold.

Although Ford isn't expected to be taken before Clowney in the draft, he will have plenty of opportunities to back up his talk once breaking into the league.
