Chaos ensues after football recruit signs with three different schools

National Signing Day is a thrill and a dream come true for the student athletes who get to take part in it. This could help explain why Dacorius "D.J." Law reportedly signed three letters of intent for three different schools this year.

According to Eye on Football, Ole Miss, Utah, and East Mississippi Community College all claimed to have received a LOI from Law today, albeit at different times. The Rebels allege that they received a letter from Law around 8 a.m., while the Utes announced Law's signing around 3:30 p.m. The time is important because the school that validated the LOI first would technically own Law's services for 2014.

While one might assume Ole Miss would be Law's destination, there's video showing Law putting on a Utah hat during his signing ceremony on Wednesday, so who knows where this guy is going to end up.

Hey, at least he has options, right?

  1. Utah is saying their compliance office has verified their letter and that they are considering him a Utah man.
