Budweiser backs out of Sochi in fear of situation surrounding Olympics

The situation in Sochi surrounding the Winter Olympics has made Budweiser decide not to throw its traditional party this year.

In recent games, namely 2010 in Vancouver and 2006 in Turin, the U.S.-based brew company threw "Club Bud" bashes to celebrate the good times involving the winter games.

However, the King of Beers won't be hosting such an event in Russia, because they are simply not comfortable having their company representatives in Sochi. The main concern appears to be the threat of a terrorist attack.

A representative for Anheuser-Busch confirmed the company's decision with TMZ Sports.
