Video: Watch four-star prospect bench press 515 pounds thrice

Earlier this week, we brought you video of a high school football bench pressing 225 pounds a whopping 37 times. That was pretty crazy in and of itself.

Today, we bring you a video clip of another football player executing an amazing bench pressing feat, except this one is a little different.

Seen here is Olathe South High School (KS) senior Braden Smith, an uncommitted four-star prospect and the 50th-ranked recruit in the Class of 2014, bench pressing an astounding 515 pounds three times.

Check out how the bar bends as it strains to hold the weight. And also check out the look on the redheaded kids face as he serves as one of Smith's spotters. It goes without saying, but could this kid actually spot his teammate if push came to shove? Hopefully we never find out.

Anyways, the 6-foot-6 Smith is arguably the top unsigned offensive lineman left in the country. Texas A&M, TCU, and Auburn appear to be the frontrunners to land Smith's services. If so, all three schools better be prepared to bring in more weight plates to their strength facility, because it looks like Smith is on pace to shut the place down.
