Seahawks refuse to sell NFC championship tickets to residents of 43 states

The Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers are scheduled to meet this weekend with the winner of the game punching a ticket to the Super Bowl.

It's primed to be a fantastic affair, but if you are looking to score tickets, you better not reside in the state of California, or 43 of the other continental states, either.

This is because the Seahawks are refusing to sell tickets to the big game to anyone with billing addresses outside of Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Alaska, and Hawaii. Folks who wish to purchase tickets and do not live in these states will have to go through secondary markets to obtain tickets.

That's bad news for any displaced Seahawks fans. But the whole motive is obviously an attempt by the team to weed out any potential 49ers fans from making their way into CenturyLink field.
