It would come as a surprise to nearly no one if Teddy Bridgewater was selected as the top overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
So it is only natural that dozens of agents are desperately seeking to represent the Louisville Cardinals product. However, could some of these agents be falling into bad graces with Teddy's mother? According to TMZ Sports, the answer is yes.
TMZ recently spoke with Teddy's mom, Rose, and she told them that her phone has been ringing off the hook ever since the talented quarterback declared for the NFL Draft on Wednesday afternoon.
"The agents won't stop," Rose says ... "They won't take no for an answer."
"I ask them, 'What do you expect me to do? Call my son and tell him to sign with you?'"
Good point, mom.
At this point, Teddy still hasn't picked an agent yet, and is reportedly seeking to put a lot of thought into who he chooses rather than making knee-jerk reaction.
When asked which team she hopes drafts Teddy, Rose responded by saying that she had no preference for one particular team, other than hoping they play their home games in a warm weather climate. Considering both Rose and Teddy are from Miami, this is understandable.
