Jim Harbaugh ditches pleated khakis after public plea from wife

You may have heard by now that Jim Harbaugh's wife is not too fond of the pants her husband wears on the sidelines while coaching the 49ers. For the record, she's not a fan of the pleats, not necessarily the tan color.

Anyways, Harbaugh has heard his wife loud and clear, as the 50-year-old is ditching the pleated pants in favor of flat-front trousers.

From Chris Wesseling of NFL.com:

Now that his wife has made a public plea to ditch the $8 Walmart pleated khakis, Harbaugh has made a slight adjustment to his wardrobe.

He switched to flat-front tan khakis for Wednesday's press conference.

"Problem solved there," Harbaugh quipped to reporters. "The Levi's or the Nike and the Dickie makes a flat khaki. So 'happy wife, happy life.' As far as tuckin' the shirt goes, that will be great. I'll feel like an innovator."

How much will it cost Harbaugh to upgrade his wardrobe. How about a hefty price tag of $23. Of course, that is chump change considering Harbaugh makes millions coaching professional football.

Nevertheless, it's obvious who wears the pants in the Harbaugh's marriage. No offense, Jim. You still have complete dictatorship over San Francisco's roster, though.
