Eight teams identified as candidates to do 'Hard Knocks' in 2014

According to a report by Deadspin, the next team to appear in Hard Knocks could be chosen from a group of eight teams, which include the Bears, Bills, Cardinals, Giants, Jaguars, Raiders, Rams, and Steelers.

The reason that these teams are presumed to be favorites are that they 1) have a new head coach, 2) made the postseason in one of the last two seasons or 3) were on the show in the last 10 years can opt out of being included.

In October, the league passed a rule saying it could force teams to participate in the show in the future. While fans enjoy watching a behind-the-scenes look at an NFL squad, the players do not, and I'm sure each member of the teams listed above is crossing their fingers that they don't get chosen.
