Antrel Rolle not happy with snub, calls Pro Bowl 'a joke'

The announcement of 2014 Pro Bowl selections did not bring favorable news to Antrel Rolle this year.

In fact, the New York Giants safety appears to be taking the news of his exclusion pretty harshly. Rolle took to his Twitter account late Friday to make his discontent with the situation clearly known.

In all honesty, Rolle has a solid case for feeling snubbed. The 31-year-old has tallied a forced fumble, two sacks, six interceptions, 11 pass deflections, and 93 total tackles this year. Statistically, Rolle played much better than the other safeties who got Pro Bowl nods over him. However, playing on a 6-9 Giants squad didn't aid his cause.

As Eye on Football points out, Rolle could still make the annual All-Star game as an alternate, but I doubt Rolle will be satisfied with that outcome at this juncture.
