There hasn't been much said from Richie Incognito since the maligned Miami Dolphins guard was suspended from the team on Monday.
However, on Friday, we heard from him through a source, who revealed that Incognito feels "shocked" and "betrayed" by Jonathan Martin's claims of harassment and bullying.
“It’s probably a combination of totally blindsided and a bit betrayed,” the source told Walker regarding Incognito. “He’s shocked. He can’t believe this happened and thinks it probably could have been avoided.”
Incognito has essentially declined Martin's claims from day one. Instead, Incognito said he believes he was a "tough-love older brother" to Martin, giving the second-year lineman a hard time while also protecting him.
There has also been a mixed bag of opinion regarding the situation. Some have sided with Incognito and chastised Martin, while majority have sided with Martin feeling that Incognito should be harshly punished for his actions. The troubling reports of Incognitio's past detailing such things as repeated trouble in college, inappropriate acts, and alleged bullying doesn't look good for Incognito's image, though.
