Auburn car dealership offers customers free vehicle if Tigers pitch shutout versus Alabama in Iron Bowl
A Toyota dealership in Auburn, Ala. is offering customers a free vehicle if the Tigers pitch a shutout versus No. 1 Alabama in the Iron Bowl on Nov. 30.
Yes, you heard that right. A FREE vehicle!
Customers who buy a Toyota between Nov. 19 and Nov. 29 will be eligible to keep their vehicle for free if Auburn can somehow manage to blank the high-powered Crimson Tide.
“It’s happened before,” says the dealership’s advertisement. “It could happen again. And if it does… you win!”
As crazy as it sounds, this may be the safest bet ever made in college football history. Alabama hasn't been shutout since 2000, ironically by Auburn, and is averaging a whopping 38.8 points per game this season, its highest average under coach Nick Saban.
Even if the Tigers fail to shut out the Tide, the dealership is still offering $25,000 to a lucky winner if Auburn simply emerges victorious, which is still a pretty safe bet in its own right.
