Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton had a career day against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday as he helped his team secure a 34-28 win.
Hilton wound up with five catches for a career-high 140 yards and two touchdowns and apparently took exception to a remark made by Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner during the game.
"Browner said I'm light as (expletive)," Hilton said.
To be fair, at 180 pounds soaking wet, Hilton is a bit on the light side, especially when you consider Browner weighs in at 220 pounds. However, the Florida International product used Browner's trash talk as motivation.
"He made me hit the light switch that nobody's seen," Hilton said. "He made that decision. So they should blame him."
Hilton notched a 73-yard touchdown and a 29-yard touchdown in the affair.
"He pushed the button," Hilton said. "So he deserved it."
Hilton also didn't like the fact that Seattle chose man-to-man coverage on him throughout the game, "Man, that's disrespecting me."
So, there you have it. Don't insult Hilton about his weight or you could be in for a long day at the office.
