Photo: Oregon Ducks to wear pink for breast cancer awareness

The Oregon Ducks, the college football team credited for revolutionizing the uniform aspect forever, will be donning new uniforms on Saturday in support of breast cancer awareness.

In its typical style and flamboyance, the No. 2 Ducks are set to wear pink helmets for the first time in school history. Players will also be wearing pink gloves, pink shoes, and pink socks to go with their all-black uniforms.

Oregon will auction off helmets after the game to help raise money for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. The fund is named in honor of the former N.C. State women's basketball coach who died of breast cancer in 2009.
