The New York Giants are off to an 0-5 start this season and their poor play is really starting to kill the mood and profits at a local establishment.
The owner of Rick's Cabaret, a gentlemen's club in Manhattan, has decided to no longer show Giants games because their lackluster performance has been killing the mood.
"I love the Giants and wish them the best, but during Sunday's Giants game I had one customer who was almost in tears when (quarterback Eli) Manning threw the last interception," said one of the dancers.
Club spokesman Lonnie Hanover says the joint has no choice but to prohibit airing Giants games until they can "get their act together."
Despite the setback, one dancer is optimistic this ban won't last forever.
"I hope the Giants turn things around and maybe we will show the games again!
"All I want to do is make people happy with my dancing. I don't like any negative distractions," she said.
The Giants will aim for their first victory of the year when they pay a visit to Chicago to take on the Bears Thursday night.
