David Pollack: Women don't belong on college football playoff committee
David Pollack said something he probably shouldn't have said Saturday morning on ESPN College GameDay.
The group of personalities were having a discussion about the college football playoff selection committee when Pollack gave a disclaimer to viewers that he was about to say something he was probably going to regret. And true to his word he did just that.
Pollack began explaining why he believed members of the committee should be familiar with the game by either being directly involved or closely tied to it. This is when host Chris Fowler butted in and asked if Pollack was implying that no women should be allowed to serve on committee, which the former Georgia Bulldog standout confirmed in the classic "I'm not saying, I'm just saying" manner.
For the record, multiple media outlets reported that former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice will be among the committee's nine members when the group is officially announced next month.
So, there is that.
