Video: Man passes out after trying to deadlift 600 pounds



Don't try this at home, kids.

Seen here is a man trying to set a personal record by deadlifting 600 pounds at a recent weightlifting competition. But as you can see, his final attempt ends with him lying on the floor.

Here is how he described his own video from YouTube:

At the Kosciuszko Community Center Deadlift competition in 2013 I weighed in at 239lbs. my opening lift was 525, then I PRd my second lift at 570, then took a quick nap after trying 600.

Fortunately, his body is okay after the incident. But his pride definitely isn't.

    1. I did 650 and I weighed only 210....but my height was 6'6" and I'm not a weightlifter at all.

    1. Just because someone doesn't lift, doesn't man they can't have an OPINION jackazz! I love these wanna be "tough" guys like your punk azz! A few years ago, (I'm 6'2 200) but a few years ago a muscle head was in my face at a strip club about this girl who was chatting ME up(nothing happened, we were just talking) but apparently HE wanted her. Anyway, he's talking crap to me all big and bad MUSCLES EVERYwhere! Long story short, he waited for me in the parking lot and got promptly got the azz kicking of HIS life! I kicked his muscle-head azz all OVER that parking lot! Yes, I know Karate (3rd degree BB) and Yes I used to box, so KNOW who you're f'ing with before you run that mouth, I don't give a sh#t HOW big and strong you are!!!!!!

  12. Could of had a stroke. He was lucky. All the muscles mean nothing if you are on a ventilator. I too am a black belt. So don't even go there.

  25. i lifted 740 [am 5'2" 122lb.] last month in junior varsity competition....would've gone for more but was middle of my cycle
