Denver appliance store offering full refunds to customers if Broncos shut out Raiders

Colorado residents who purchase appliances this weekend could wind up getting their things for free if the Denver Broncos take care of business on Monday.

The Appliance Factory will give a complete refund to any customer who buys a product between $499 and $3,000 if the Broncos shut out the Oakland Raiders on Monday night, said Jason Duong, Appliance Factory marketing manager.

"We are big fans here, and it is something fun to do," Duong said.

Here is how the promotion works: customers who shop at any of their 13 stores in Colorado, through the close of business Sunday, will have a check for the amount of their product cut to them by the store if the Raiders fail to produce any points.

"We took out an insurance policy on it, so everything is already paid for," Duong said.

As alluring as the promotion seems, it is highly unlikely a shutout occurs. In the 105 meetings between the two teams, only twice have the Broncos blanked the Raiders, the last of which came in 1995 when the Broncos won 27-0 at Mile High Stadium.
