Los Angeles Dodgers rookie sensation Yasiel Puig has found himself in a bit of trouble yet again.
The Cuban native has been fined an undisclosed amount for showing up to Marlins Park late for Tuesday's game against Miami.
According to Orange County Register reporter Bill Plunkett, Puig was staying in his family's home in Miami rather than the team hotel Tuesday afternoon, and got stuck in traffic on the way to the stadium.
Dodgers skipper Don Mattingly then pulled Puig into his office for a chat that lasted no longer than 10 minutes and resulted in a fine of "more than a dollar," according to Mattingly.
Also of note is the fact that Puig wasn't in the starting lineup for the game. The 22-year-old has been struggling at the plate recently (2-for-17 in last four games) and his absence from the lineup can be attributed to his struggles rather than showing up late.
