Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Hanley Ramirez attempted to pull off a clever double play during Wednesday's game against the Miami Marlins.
The moment came in the bottom of the seventh inning with a Marlins runner on first base. A line drive is then smacked toward the direction of Ramirez at shortstop, which he clearly intentionally drops in order to start a 6-4-3 double play.
However, the umpires see his intent, and award just one out on the play.
It was a slick try nonetheless.
