A flying bat made its way onto Turner Field in the second inning of Wednesday's game between the Phillies and Braves. No, not that kind of bat.
Now, a bat boy is responsible for handling a lot of things, but a real live bat isn't one of them. Nonetheless, the Braves bat boy was tasked with removing the webbed creature from the field of play, with a little help from Braves infielder Paul Janish.
Once the bat boy takes the mammal into the dugout, it appears as though nobody wants anything to do with it. Well, except for Dan Uggla.
