Don't expect Chicago Cubs catcher Dioner Navarro and Los Angeles Dodgers third basemen Hanley Ramirez to arrange a lunch date anytime soon.
Ramirez was none too happy about receiving a high and tight fastball during Sunday's game at Wrigley Field. So, when Ramirez walked on the very next pitch, he disrespectfully placed his bat in between Navarro's crouched legs before jogging to first base while laughing.
Pretty childish, huh?
Navarro got the last laugh, though. He did so by smashing Ramirez's bat into the ground before the Dodgers bat boy could grab it, leaving the piece of lumber unfit for future use.
As fate would have it, Ramirez would exit the game later on after crashing into the stands while trying to track down a popup.
Karma at its best, folks.
