Video: Colorado State student nails half-court shot for free tuition
The cost of tuition at universities across the United States has been on the rise in recent years and has led many students to seek out creative ways to try and pay for it.
Well, it appears the new way to pay for college is sinking half-court shots in exchange for free tuition.
Andrew Schneeweis can certainly testify to this as the Colorado State freshman drilled an improbable shot during a recent pep rally. His incredible effort earned him a year's worth of tuition paid for by men's basketball coach Larry Eustachy, football coach Jim McElwain, women's basketball coach Ryun Williams, and volleyball coach Tom Hilbert.
Last week, a student at Ball State also won free tuition from his respective school after sinking a half court shot of his own on his very first day of college.
