Tiger Woods' home may be sinking

Tiger Woods house in Jupiter Island

While Tiger Woods was sinking putts in his win at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational over the weekend, his home may have been doing a little sinking itself, too.

According to Gossip Extra, Woods and his current girlfriend Lindsey Vonn recently noticed cracks in walls and doors rubbing onto the ground in their 10,000-square-foot home in Jupiter, Fla. Naturally, they saw the oddities as sure signs of trouble. Upon further review, it turns out that they are right.

A contractor has been called in to try and stabilize the structure by inserting giant screws as far as 24 feet into the ground to help prevent the home from sinking anymore.

“This sort of thing occurs quite a bit in Florida,” said a foundation specialist. “In Florida, the soil has layers of organic matter that eventually decomposes. Once that happens, many homes start sinking.”

So, there you have it.

Just another day in the life of Woods.
