A heavy downpour of rain caused some serious problems for the New York Yankees grounds crew Monday night as they tried to pull the tarp over the infield.
The game was stopped in the bottom of the fourth inning when the skies opened above Yankee Stadium and forced the field maintenance team into action.
As you can see, the grounds crew struggled mightily to get the tarp on in the midst of the rain, getting soaked and fatigued in the process.
They eventually managed to get the job done, drawing a round of cheers and applause from the few folks in the stands who hadn't taken cover.
The game resumed an hour later after a brief delay.
