Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton clubbed a game-tying home run in the bottom of the ninth inning off Nationals closer Rafael Soriano Saturday.
And there was absolutely nobody more excited about this than teammate and starting pitcher Jose Fernandez.
Seriously, check out the pure display of thrill and excitement Fernandez exhibits in the dugout as Stanton rounds the bases.
Stanton's home run essentially got Fernandez off the hook of being the game's losing pitcher and sent the game into extra innings. The Marlins plated a run in the bottom of the tenth to notch a walk-off victory against their division rivals.
No word yet on how Fernandez reacted to watching that spectacle.
