Photo: Los Angeles Kings selling Metta World Peace jerseys?

The Los Angeles Lakers used the amnesty clause to waive forward Metta World Peace on Thursday. Then, the outspoken veteran took to Twitter to announce his future plans, jokingly saying that he was retiring basketball to play hockey for the Los Angeles Kings.

Well, it appears as though the Kings are set to cash in on World Peace's offer.
As the folks at For the Win point out, it remains to be seen whether the Kings actually follow through and sell these jerseys, as the team's social media department is known for its humor.

But given the popularity of World Peace, and the potential for sizable revenue, the Kings may actually be planning to sell this after all.
