Marlins set to play host to 'Legends of Wrestling Night'

Honestly, there isn't much intrigue in watching the Miami Marlins play baseball this season. The Fish own the National League's worst record and appear to be heading for a third consecutive last place finish in the division.

However, there might just be one game fans will want to pencil into their schedule, and that game will be played on Aug. 24, as the Marlins play host to both the Colorado Rockies and "Legends of Wrestling Night," which will include actual wrestling matches inside the stadium.

Yes, I said actual wrestling fans can watch inside Marlins Park, which promises to be much more interesting than the product that ownership has put on the field for the last year and a half.

Former WCW superstar Bill Goldberg will reportedly toss the ceremonial first pitch. The likes of former wrestling icons such as Bret Hart, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, and others are slated to be there, as well.

The Marlins are averaging just over 17,000 fans per game in 2013, ranking last in the major leagues, but I have a feeling they might exceed that figure on this night.
