The best catch of the Major League Baseball season may have been made by a Minnesota Twins ball boy on Thursday.
The moment happened in the top of the fourth inning in the White Sox-Twins game when Chicago's Alexei Ramirez ripped a pitch down the third base line toward the first row of seats. The ball was an absolute screamer and appeared to be destined to inflict serious harm on someone.
This is when the ball boy literally sprang into action and leaped high off the ground to snare the baseball before landing hard on his backside. He received a nice round of applause and some pats on the back for his stellar effort and deservedly so.
Holy smokes. What a catch!
