Video: Son makes father feel guilty after stealing ball from other fan at Brewers game

Snagging a foul ball at a Major League Baseball game is probably one of the most exciting experiences a fan can receive. But coming within inches of corraling one only to have it slip away is likely one of the most frustrating experiences.

Monday's game between the Brewers and Athletics at Miller Field provided such a scenario in the eighth inning. It came when Brewers hitter Norichika Aoki fouled a pitch off to the third base side of the stands and sent several fans sprawling after the baseball.

As you can see, a middle-aged father comes up with the souvenir, but his joy is quickly fizzled out by his son, who claims he stole the ball from someone else. Sure enough the replay shows that the father was benefitted by a fortuitous roll during the pursuit and that left one young fan without the baseball that he thought he had grabbed.

Luckily, his son was there to urge him to do the right thing.
