An errant paper airplane made its way onto the Dodger Stadium field during Friday night's game between the Phillies and Dodgers.
It's not too hard to blame the culprit, though. The few Los Angeles fans who were still left by the time this happened in the ninth inning had likely grown extremely restless and bored.
In fact, the airplane's tumble onto the grass near the pitching mound was very symbolic of how Dodgers pitching performed in the contest.
The pitching staff coughed up a whopping 16 runs to Philadelphia's offense in a 16-1 beatdown. Thus, snapping the six-game winning streak Yasiel Puig and the Dodgers previously had entering Friday.
