Video: It takes four strikes to fan Yasiel Puig

How good is Dodgers rookie sensation Yasiel Puig?

Apparently, the Cuban native is so good that pitchers need four strikes to retire him on strikes, not just the traditional way of three.

Such was the case for Diamondbacks pitcher Ian Kennedy Tuesday night as it took the right-hander five pitches and four strikes to fan Puig. There was discussion about the pitch count among the umpires when Kennedy worked the county to 1-2, however, they seemed to have missed the first part of the at-bat and ruled that the count was 1-1.

Naturally, Puig wound up striking out anyway.
